Therapy with Jo:
Hello, I’m Jo.
Need someone to talk to who will properly listen and understand?
Perhaps you have had a difficult childhood and not spoken about it in depth or made sense of it?
Is there a trauma in your past that may be affecting your behaviour and relationships now?
I’m truly passionate about what I do: to help people lead happier lives.
I have valuable and extensive experience of working with clients who have experienced trauma: sexual, physical and emotional abuse. I have also had vast experience of working with neurodiversity.
I specialise in issues including:
In particular, I can support parents and siblings of neurodiverse children.
The impact of trauma can lead to profound difficulties in later life including ongoing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and addictive or obsessive behaviours that are not helpful in your present life.
I can offer you my help.
Speaking about your story and the feelings attached, can have a powerful effect on your life now.
If your life is overwhelming and you’d like to explore your issues and gain clarity and control, I can offer you my help.
Working together effectively could enable you to understand yourself better and what is going on for you.
Together we can find a way to help you manage issues in your life better: leading to a happier, more fulfilling life.
